Client-Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) is available to Alberta residents of all ages who meet the eligibility criteria set by Alberta Health Services (AHS).

To qualify for the program, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Residency: You must be a resident of Alberta.
2. Valid Health Care Card: You must have an active Alberta Health Care card.
3. Safe Living at Home: You must be able to live safely at home with the assistance of home care services.
4. AHS Assessment: You must be assessed by an AHS case manager and determined to require home care services.

If you haven’t applied for the CDHCI program yet, you can request an assessment by calling Alberta Health Services at 811. If you’re already receiving home care through another AHS program, reach out to your case manager to discuss your eligibility for CDHCI.
